Born in 1980 in Norden, East Frisia, I developed an early fascination with both art and technology. While still in school, I gained hands-on experience through various jobs — from working at a seal sanctuary and a veterinary practice to assisting in an advertising agency.
Intrigued by creativity and innovation, I explored the intersection of artistic expression and technical skill. My passion for computers began with early home systems, evolving into a deep understanding of PC building, configuration, programming, and networking.
After a brief period studying computer science and microrobotics in Oldenburg, I transitioned into the event industry. Starting out as a technician and later as a pyrotechnics and SFX specialist, I gradually moved toward conceptual and creative work.
Driven by a strong autodidactic spirit, I taught myself 3D animation, modeling, motion graphics, and video editing and composition. Over the years, I have worked as a multimedia artist and art director, combining artistic vision with technical expertise.
In collaboration with three colleagues, I co-founded the creative brand 4VOLUMES, where I continue to explore and merge the boundaries between design, technology, and storytelling.
Music has also been a long-standing part of my life — I have performed as a semi-professional guitarist in several bands and worked as a music producer.
Today, I live in Bielefeld (NRW) with my wife and two children, continuously exploring new ways to connect creativity, design, and technology.
